Chase's Wall at 1258 Koko Head AvenueПереглядів: 395In circa 1979 we lived at one of the "Cenko" properties on Koko Head Avenue. I was cleaning paint brushes in the garage, and Chase was helping me. Her painting is still there. I painted her name in the midst of it all, and she adorned the "e."

Colletts Green RoadПереглядів: 378The undersized sewers are again not up to the task. The water bubbles up, and then flows from the sewers into the highway run-off system. So sewage is escaping and going down into the River Severn. We have complained about this for 15 or more years, but nobody does anything about it. We installed our own mini sewage treatment plant so we weren't dependent upon the main sewers.

But the storm finally hit on January 28 2004, and lasted precisely ten minutes. This is our front garden at Whitecroft viewed through the snow.

Turkey and Duck - Born on the Same DayПереглядів: 5598May 17 2004 -- Today we had a baby Bronze turkey and a baby duck hatch. We think the duck is part Indian Runner and part wild mallard. They're snuggling together under the heat lamp.
