| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Richard Chamings (right) and Big and The Wild Boar1064 viewsOur newly-arrived wild boar has a prolapse, possibly from all the rich, new grass at his new home. Here Big (left) and our vet, Richard Chamings operate on the boar's rear. Tranquilising a wild boar proved to be quite a challenge: he just didn't want to lie down.

Front of Woodman's Cottage298 viewsAs best we can tell, the front boundary of Woodman's Cottage is circa 8.9 meters from the front (south) of the Woodman's Cottage garage. This photograph was taken from the west, facing towards the east. Marjorie is standing behind the hedge at the point 8.9 meters south of the front of the cottage. Assuming we're correct (and our surveyor is checking this now) the area to the right (south) of the red line is our property.

The Stairway, M1 Southbound at Trowell191 viewsThis is the stairway to climb to the bridge over the motorway. The signs indicate there's a Marks and Spencer at the M1 southbound, but it's actually on the other side of the motorway. You need to climb these stairs (no lift) to get to the bridge, and then repeat the process on the other side of the motorway. Very misleading in my opinion. But not in the opinion of Moto.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4070 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
