Electronic Innards of Stable Gate208 odsłonI asked Gregorz to please remove the cover to the stable gate equipment this afternoon, and this is what we found. I believe this is the radio-control equipment, as well as a step-down transformer for the gate motor. It's been mounted about eight inches above the ground, but is always covered by a thick black cover. Gregorz had to remove a few screws to reveal the "innards."

Burj al Arab Hotel401 odsłonThe right side of the hotel --- bathed in purple light --- is made from Kevlar, and is designed to look like a sail. The whole hotel is on a man-made island just offshore in the Arabian Sea. The colours on the side of the hotel change every few minutes.
