Chase's Pig7490 пъти видянаThis magnificent pig is a cross between a kune kune pig (the small pigs from New Zeland, who have wattles) and a Gloucester Old Spot pig. We never understood how that mating took place. This pig is about 12 or 13 years old, but she can still move as fast as a piglet.

The Electric Meter Reader145 пъти видянаThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?

Whitecroft Decking238 пъти видянаThird time lucky? The first deck was built of teak and painted with special marine deck paint. It was incredibly slippery. The second deck was built of soft wood and stained, but the paint kept peeling off (you can see the latest coat on the right hand side -- the grey paint applied in 2003). The new decking is guaranteed for 25 years. Installed in August 2005, so we have until August 2030. I will be 81.
