Sewage Outfall Pipe from (We Think) Lord's Wood Cottage288 زيارةAt the request of the District Council, we have removed the undergrowth and some of the soil from the offending sewage outfall pipe (see earlier photograph). This pipe is within Lord's Wood, and points directly to Lord's Wood Cottage.

Ladies with Signs224 زيارةTheir dresses look like the snow-covered Alps, with little trees and little people skiing. The signs were only in Italian, and we couldn't see the large monitors from our seats, so Marjorie and I had fun guessing the name of some of the less-obvious teams. Statue of Liberty from the Deck of the QE2358 زيارةArriving in New York City by large ocean liner is thrilling. This was a warm spring day, April 1991. It was the first crossing of the year for the QE2 and we were a day late because we encountered 55 foot waves in the North Atlantic. The Statue of Liberty is in the distance.
