| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Arriving in New York City on the QE2 - April 1991155 x bekekenThis panoramic photograph, taken with a Widelux camera from the top deck of the QE2, is now quite poignant because of the prominence of the two towers of the World Trade Center. We couldn't have imagined when we took this photograph on a warm spring day in April 1991 that just over a decade later both towers would be gone. In November 2008 the QE2 sails to Dubai where she will be permanently moored.

Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph344 x bekekenHumphrey B. Bear has been savagely attacked by an unknown assailant. His injuries are fatal. We suspect one Tapa Dog, especially because there was Bear tissue spread throughout the front lounge, and Tapa Dog was the only known occupant of the lounge at the time. He had earlier displayed an unnatural interest in Bear.

PAAVille Skyline - Wake Island24988 x bekekenI would guess this in the main intersection of PAAVille on Wake Island, photographed by my father, Woody Walsh, circa 1953. He took a series of slides, and these two images were stitched together with modern software. I like the one lone soldier walking in the lower right hand corner --- he's the only sign of "traffic."

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4041 x bekekenWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 mei 2012
