Michaelmas Daisies - Whitecroft Garden304 mol gekuckt ginnI'd never even heard of a Michaelmas Daisy until I spotted a road sign in Malvern one day pointing to the National Michaelmas Daisy Collection. We actually paid a visit and discovered that these daisies bloom in the autumn. And, to our surprise, we have Michaelmas daisies in our garden. Here are some just outside our front lounge, blooming in October.

Normally the cause of an electrical failure is somewhere distant and unknown. But on the 23rd the downed cables were in our track. Repairing the cables looked like it would take two weeks --- but it took about six hours.
