| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

The Olympic Cheerleaders - Oval Lingotto - Torinovista 340 vecesI was surprised to see that there were "Olympic Cheerleaders." I don't know if it was the lighting in the Oval Lingotto, but their costumes looked dull (and almost unclean) to me. But they were cheery!

Brooke and Poi T-Shirtvista 709 vecesWe were contacted by E! television. They were filming a "Wild on Waikiki" program, and wanted a taro lo`i in town. We explained that most lo`i were on the neighbor islands, but that we had a small one (about 10 sq. ft.) in our parking lot. The taro plants in our mini-lo`i were purchased at Home Depot. But our mini lo`i was graced by Brooke, and appeared in the E! program.

An Afternoon in the Countryside - New Hampshire, 1966vista 939 vecesOn Thanksgiving of my freshman year at Rensselaer, my parents came to visit me on the East Coast. We all went to see my father's brother (and my uncle) Dinny Walsh. Here we are --- not exactly looking comfortable in the countryside. Dinny, me, Shauna, and my mother with a New England barn in the background.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirevista 4070 vecesWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 de Mayo de 2012
