Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

Marjorie With Her Bubble Glasses169 x angesehenWe bought, at Selfridges, a small bubble blower. It actually fills the soap bubbles with some sort of ghost "smoke." Our idea was that the dogs would love the bubbles. So far, nope. When Marjorie was testing it, a couple of the bubbles blew in front of her face --- and they look a bit like Bubble Goggles.

Nordkapp - North Cape - Norway447 x angesehenThe midnight sun (photographed at midnight) from the most northerly part of Europe. "The North Cape was named by English explorer Richard Chancellor in 1553 when he passed the cape in the search for a Northeast passage. From then on, it was occasionally visited by daring explorers who climbed the steep cliff face to the plateau; famous visitors include King Oscar II of Norway in 1873 and Thailand's King Chulalongkorn in 1907. Today, the North Cape is a major tourist attraction."

Tapa and Tiny202 x angesehenThis is definitely a love-hate relationship. Tiny has wanted to play with Tapa since her arrival, but Tapa is relatively indifferent to this.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4070 x angesehenWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28. Mai 2012
