No apologies: it was like we weren't even there. When we asked her if she'd even noticed us, she was rude and officious. At M&S, clearly the wire baskets take priority over the customers. Candles at York Minster Cathedral138 εμφανίσειςMarjorie and I always like lighting candles, letting birds go free, ringing bells, etc. --- all the things you do in churches and temples throughout the world. At York Minster Cathedral we each bought a little candle. Ours were the only two on the go.

Westbrook Enjoying A Beer1275 εμφανίσειςWestbrook is a Berkshire pig --- what the Japanese call kurobuta ("black pig"). Kurobuta pork is highly prized in Japan, and we've decided to take it one step further and feed our Berkshire pigs the same diet we feed our Kobe cattle. This, of course, includes beer. Here Vic is giving Westbrook some nice cool beer on a hot summer afternoon.
