Kiko -- Hairless On One Sidevu 129 foisKiko a few days after the surgery to remove two lobes from his right lung. This is our first visit with Kiko after his operation. They certainly shaved a lot of his fur. He was hungry and seemed happy to see us. What he really wanted to do was leave! We're hoping he can go home later today.

We did not specify that the gates be wooden, or that they "match" anything. The important feature to us was that the gates be six feet tall, and stop prying eyes.

The Electric Meter Readervu 127 foisThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?
