They run a mile if we try to pat them, but they come very close when they want to look over our shoulder at something that's of interest to them.

The Old and The New232 odsłonThe magnolia tree in our front garden -- a new blossom, and an old. The magnolia is an ancient genus that evolved before bees appeared. The flowers are designed to be pollinated by beetles. This is a Southern Magnolia, or Magnolia grandiflora.
