| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Kea, Sarah and Me at the Lygon Arms, Broadway507 viewsSort of a surrealistic photo from 1996. We were having afternoon tea, with the dogs, at the Lygon Arms in Broadway. Don't we look happy? And I seem to be wearing cowboy boots --- the perfect attire for the Cotswolds.

Me Sitting Outside The Ticket Office with Diego260 viewsWe never would have found this small porta-cabin --- the main ticket office for the opening ceremony of the Olympics --- were it not for Diego. The ticket folks brought me a chair and put me on some gravel (at least in the sunshine) while they tried to sort out the buraucracy. Although we paid 30 Euros for courier service, and sent four e-mail messages and made four telephone calls, they "forgot" to print our two tickets.

Here Comes Spice1313 viewsSpice, a Golden Retriever, loves to swim, so coaxing her into the pool was easy --- just toss in her ball. Spice's owner, and our veterinary surgeon (Richard Chamings), is the gentleman standing and watching. I think he thought he'd manage to stay dry.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4067 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
