Kiko in the Garden163 εμφανίσειςMay 1, 2007 -- Kiko's 12th Birthday. He'd had surgery about a month earlier to remove part of his lung: biopsies, x-rays, and CAT scans had been inconclusive. Unfortunately he had lung cancer. He was fine up until his birthday. He wanted to spend most of the day outside -- fortunately it was warm and sunny. He came in at 7:00 PM, and then died, with Marjorie and me with him, at 11:00 PM. On the couch, his favourite place.

Marjorie Visiting With Kiko118 εμφανίσειςAt the Queen Mother Hospital, Royal Veterinary College. This is our first visit with Kiko after he had a couple of lung lobes removed surgically. We drove down to Potters Bar on Saturday afternoon to see how he was doing and to give him some fish (which we bought at a motorway stop on the M40 for 7.99).
