Whitecroft Deckingšt. ogledov:194Third time lucky? The first deck was built of teak and painted with special marine deck paint. It was incredibly slippery. The second deck was built of soft wood and stained, but the paint kept peeling off (you can see the latest coat on the right hand side -- the grey paint applied in 2003). The new decking is guaranteed for 25 years. Installed in August 2005, so we have until August 2030. I will be 81.

Maritz sent us to Marbella, Spain. One of the activities was a "rally," where we divided into teams, each in a small jeep-like thing. The goal was this lunch spot. Doesn't that restaurant sign look inviting? Hmmm.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshirešt. ogledov:4024We took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28.05.2012
