| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Trying to pretend we're lovely and warm119 viewsThe rooftop (outdoor) pool at the Thermae Bath Spa in Bath. When I was taking this photograph one of the "fun police" came up and said, "No pictures allowed." She was, not surprisingly, mistaken, and the manager was gracious with her apology.

Hmm, how do I get out of this?250 viewsLord Rannoch, our Highland bull, smashed through the thick (and, we thought, sturdy) wooden fence while we were watching to take on Ballet Cruz, an Aberdeen Angus bull. Poor move, Rannoch. This shows that horns are no match for a size and youth. Fortunately, only Rannoch's pride was injured. Zbig and Gregorz ran into the fray (sort of) and separated the two angry bulls.

Happy Halloween from the Pigs931 viewsWe wanted a photo of a pig pumpkin for an e-mail newsletter. Couldn't find one with any of the stock agencies, so decided we had to try to create a pig pumpkin oursleves. Having never carved a pumpkin before, this was an interesting challenge. But here it is. Oink, oink! And now we get pumpkin soup and pumpkin seeds....

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4015 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
