| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Award Winning Chicken443 viewsThe gorgon who yelled at me about taking photos in the poultry tent thought that I would "stress" the birds. I would suggest that putting them in a small cage in a hot tent filled with other unfamiliar chickens and ducks and even turkeys, and then add thousands of people, would stress them more than a 1/100 exposure. Does this guy look stressed?

Looking Down The Track To Lord's Wood256 viewsThe morning of September 23 2006. With the brambles cleared out, you can see how the fence (the two horizontal posts) comes out from the hedge, and then carries on down the track to the north, towards Lord's Wood itself. The large metal shed, built without planning permission, is also encroaching upon our land.

Holiday Inn Garden Court - Helsinki Airport, Finland229 viewsBecause our inbound flight was late, we missed our connection to St. Petersburg in Warsaw. This meant a side-trip to Helsinki, and we still arrived in St. Petersburg a day late. This hotel, at the airport, was clean but basic. Nobody to help with our luggage, so Marjorie had to put it on a chair we "borrowed" from the business centre. She pushed the luggage to our tiny room on the chair.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4061 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
