| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Tapa in the Car478 viewsTapa loves to go riding in the car, so I took him for a short ride while I photographed the Tamworth piglets, and then went off to get milk. When I was outside, Tapa moved to the driver's seat, and put his paw up. He looks quite relaxed.

The North Atlantic From Our Cabin on the QE2206 viewsOur cabin was at the top of the ship, so it really rock-and-rolled in the high seas. This was the first crossing of the North Atlantic by the QE2 in 1991, and we encountered 55 foot seas. The stabilisers had to be retracted, and we sailed to the south in a futile effort to avoid the worst of the weather. We were a day late arriving in New York City.

The Sunday Walk205 viewsSo that all the dogs could have a long walk, Andy asked several of his friends to lend a hand. The result was that all dogs had two 2-hour walks, plus their ball-playing sessions in the garden. Yet they still seemed filled with energy!

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4037 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
