| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

The Olympic Cheerleaders - Oval Lingotto - Torino312 viewsI was surprised to see that there were "Olympic Cheerleaders." I don't know if it was the lighting in the Oval Lingotto, but their costumes looked dull (and almost unclean) to me. But they were cheery!

Woman's World Article on Poi - August 2001321 viewsThis article described poi as a bit of a miracle diet food, and we received many telephone calls from people who simply wanted poi. While the article is true, it left out some of the more important facts about the "poi diet" --- you can't simply eat whatever you want and poi and expect to lose weight. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work like that.

Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph487 viewsIn addition to horrific injuries to his head (pending the autopsy results, it is thought that the facial injuries were the ones that caused Bear's death), there were also substantial injuries to Bear's left paw. In fact, his left paw was entirely chewed off by canine teeth. The tissue from Bear's paw was spread over a 10 sq. ft. area in what we believe was a horrific attack. We are waiting for further details from forensics.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4050 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
